Seed Success and Weekly News!

Our seed experiment has been a success, and a lot of fun too! Students could hardly wait to check on their beans each day! We have observed them grow and swell, open, and now show off a green stem! It has been a great kickoff to our plant unit. Check out the photos!

This week we continue to build our reading community and work on our personal narrative stories in writing. We will be choosing one later this week to take through the writing process and become our first published piece! In math we are wrapping up chapter 1 and reviewing 2-digit addition and subtraction.
