Happy holidays!

Thank you families for planning and hosting our winter party! We loved the 'twas the night before Christmas' theme and had a great time crafting cute snowmen!

Have a safe, wonderful winter break! See you in 2017!

Information Writing Celebration

Our second quarter writing unit was information! Students thought of 'expert' topics - topics they knew a lot about! They planned an organized book with a table of contents, drafted each chapter, worked hard to revise, published by typing, and even added helpful text features!

It was so fun to wear our pajamas and have a warm winter themed celebration before heading off for the holidays!

This celebration wouldn't have been complete without hot cocoa! Students certainly earned it! Their information books are outstanding!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The multiplication and division turkeys of Mrs. Kuhl's class hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

Spread Kindness!

At the end of November, students at our school worked together to encourage others to be kind! We worked in groups to make posters with positive messages! These were hung outside at the front of our school for all to see!

Candy Elections

To go with our government unit and this year's presidential election, students participated in a candy elections project! Groups worked to prepare their candy candidate for the big election! They created posters and wrote a speech! After presentations, each citizen voted for their favorite candy candidate!

Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun celebrating Halloween! Thank you families for planning and hosting such a wonderful party in our classroom!
