Properties of Matter!

Today we explored properties of matter! Tables received a "Bag of Matter" and worked with their team to classify and categorize it in different ways based on properties of matter like shape, size, texture and hardness!

Writing Celebration - Persuasive Speeches!

Yesterday we shared and celebrated our persuasive writing (speeches)! Some students were excited to read theirs to the whole class and others felt more comfortable in a small group! We set our classroom up like a conference and students rotated to hear and listen to different presenters! We had a lot of fun! I am so proud of each of them for standing up and sharing their speech!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today we celebrated Valentine's Day! 

We read a story and made a hand valentine for a special family member!

We read another great festive story!

We passed out our valentines!

We did some candy heart math!

Making arrays!

Then, our official party began!

Students had ice-cream sundaes!!!

They also played some games and did a craft!
