In reading, Miss Chapman read us two books about bats and we compared them using a bat Venn diagram. The two books about bats that Miss Chaapman read to us were called Stelluluna and What Is A Bat.

In reading group all the groups read a Halloween poem by Kenn Nesbitt that was about a person who was dressing up as Dracula and all of the things he put on to get ready for his Halloween party at school and when he gets to school he finds out the Halloween party is not till next week.

Our Day in Photos - by Gabby

Today we had great fun learning and exploring Europe.

We also watched some video clips to learn even more! Parents, ask your child to show you their passport so you can learn some fun facts, too!

In reading, Miss Chapman has been teaching us about sequencing.

We learned that you can order the events or things about the story and when you put all the pieces together you have a story! Sequencing can also be like summarizing the story. It was loads of FUN!
