The Week Blog #3

Today we hope you've all had a FANTASTIC Mothers Day.

Last week we ended JA ( Juinior Achievement ) with wonderful Mrs. Hessler. Thank you, Mrs. Hessler!!!

Last week we had fun celebrating all of our moms. We wrote some poetry!

Today we discovered one of Mrs. Kuhl's gifts for the end of the year. Balloons! Every day we pop one and get a nice treat.

We also did a magical fairy tale STEM project. We all made little houses for little pigs. Fortunately, none of our houses were blown down by the big bad wolf.

Poetry Celebration

Last week we wrapped up our poetry writing unit! We had a springtime poetry cafe celebration!

Our published poems are now on display on our poet-tree!

We finished up by writing a fun poem about bunnies or rabbits and completing a creative art activity to go along with it! Happy spring!

Perimeter and Area Practice

In math, we've been exploring perimeter and area! On Friday, students practiced finding the perimeter and area of composite figures that I taped to our floor! It was hands-on and lots of fun!
